What we believe

We are committed to historic Christian orthodoxy, and thereby affirm, for example, the Apostles’ Creed.

This creed reminds us that Christianity is about good news (“gospel”). It is not a mere philosophy or moral code but rather news about who God is and what he has done for us in Jesus Christ. You simply can’t believe what we believe and not want to share it!

The Bible

We revel in the love-story of the Bible which we believe to be God’s Word. As such, it is entirely trustworthy – there is no higher authority. That’s why we are a Bible-teaching church.

The Westminster Shorter Catechism (1647)
The truth of the Bible is so precious that we want to help each other learn, memorise, and teach it, with clarity and conviction. The Westminster Shorter Catechism is a great tool for that.
